第8回いぶすき映画祭　

趣旨・目的
鹿児島県指宿市の豊かな自然を背景に、全国から映画を愛する人々が集い、文化交流を深めることを目的とし、「第8回いぶすき映画祭」を開催します。
会場は指宿市民会館大ホール。大画面・高品質な音響設備、800席のキャパシティを備えた上質な環境で、国内外の新しい才能による作品を鑑賞していただきます。
また、市民に映画制作の楽しさを知ってもらい、特に若者には新たな可能性として、映画を通じた創造的な体験を提供したいと考えています。
2018年から「指宿を映画の街に」という想いのもと、私たちは映画の持つ豊かな文化を街全体に広めるべく努力してきました。現在、日本の映画はマンガやアニメと並び、世界的に評価される時代を迎えています。私たちは、日本映画の一翼を担うとともに、映画を通じて地元文化の活性化を促し、新たな映画制作者を発掘・支援することも大きな目的としています。
いぶすき映画祭は、国内外の映画制作者が自身の作品を披露し、多くの観客から評価を得る場を提供する重要なプラットフォームです。

The 8th Ibusuki Film Festival　

Aims and Objectives

The 8th Ibusuki Film Festival will be held with the aim of bringing together people who love films from all over Japan and deepening cultural exchange against the rich natural background of Ibusuki City, Kagoshima Prefecture.

The venue is the Ibusuki Civic Hall Main Hall. In a high-quality environment with a large screen, high-quality sound equipment, and a capacity of 800 seats, visitors will be able to enjoy films by new talents from Japan and abroad.

We also hope to show citizens the joy of filmmaking and provide creative experiences through film as a new possibility, especially for young people.

Since 2018, we have been striving to spread the rich culture of film throughout our city with the idea of “making Ibusuki a film city”. Today, Japanese cinema, along with manga and anime, is entering an era of global recognition. Our major objective is to play a role in Japanese cinema, to promote the revitalization of local culture through film, and to discover and support new filmmakers.

The Ibusuki Film Festival is an important platform for domestic and international filmmakers to showcase their work and gain recognition from a large audience.
